Father's Day

Little guy decided to give his dad a show on Father's Day.  Micah always says he has Soren "in training." First it was practicing holding his head up on that wobbly neck, then it was balancing on his own two feet.  Lately we've been thinking Soren seems really close to rolling over, both from back to front and front to back.  He's done it a few times, but has always seemed accidental more than anything.  Last night, he rolled belly to back several times in a row.  We've got a roller now!  Lately he's been happy to fold his feet up by his belly and even sticks his toes in his mouth while he is in the bathtub.  It's awesome to see him develop, though I'm worried that we're going to be busy very soon...we have a very energetic boy on our hands...he never stops moving!

We celebrated Father's Day by running a 5K race in Fort Snelling State Park.  We don't have any photos, though, because it was POURING rain! It was quite a swampy race.  Soren raced, too, in his Chariot stroller.  Micah pushed him, and he still managed to run 7 minutes miles. Being a dad hasn't slowed that guy down! Then we had a dinner that featured some new cheeses we picked out at the Coop.  It's awesome to see Micah as a dad...he's truly a natural, I would say!

Happy Father's Day to our own dads...you've set an amazing example for us.  Soren loves his Boppa and Poppa, and so do we.
