24 Weeks

Soren's teeth are still coming in.  Now he's got two little white nubs and he rubs those nubs all day long! He has also become a noisy little one, blowing raspberries nonstop.  We caught him on video making his new favorite noise...this is just 24 seconds of it, but he did it for about 10 minutes straight.  

Another favorite noise is THE SCREAM! Soren raises his eyebrows, takes a breath, and then lets loose a wicked scream.  It makes our ears ring, but we scream back at him and it makes him giggle. I wonder if it makes the neighbors giggle, too...or more likely think we're all crazy.

4th on the Farm & 10 Mile Lake

 The weekend before the 4th of July we traveled to Pelican Rapids to spend some time on the farm.  The weather was lovely.  There were baby pigs & chicks to watch. And water fights!

 This guy loves his little cousin.  He is so gentle with him.

 Then in August, we visited with the Dotys at their cabin on 10 Mile Lake. What an awesome lake for these little guys!

 The boys went down the water slide all by themselves. It's really not summer without a trip to the lake.

Soren Sits!

Soren started sitting up at our friend Tess' birthday party last Saturday.  I guess he knows how to show off for a crowd!  It's fun to discover new ways to play now that he can look at the world while upright.  He's quite a steady eddy, too...how did this little boy get so strong?

23 Weeks

Big things happening this week! Soren learned to SIT UP! And, he popped two little teeth through his bottom gums. Whew. If that weren't enough, he also learned that he can now get places.  And things. He's still pretty slow on the moving, but we're baby-proofing our house as we speak.  Little man, you are so fun right now.
