Soren has been breathing air for 4 days now, and he's already learning how to sleep. However, he has not quite aligned himself with the rest of humanity's sleep-wake cycle. Although this means that he is alert and wants to be held all night long, it makes for some great picture-taking opportunities during the day (when his parents can stay awake!). Here are a few of my favorites.
This is the crib (and sheets) that Rebekah grew up in. It made its way from Germany to Pelican Rapids, MN. It recently received a new coat of paint from Micah, but seems to be doing its job better than ever!
Its hard not to just sit and gaze at this beautiful boy all day...
I love this lighting. Using our new tripod, we can finally keep the camera still enough to capture such low light.
This is one cool dude. Check out the mohawk.
Playing with the focus and focal length.
These photos may be a bit skewed as to how much Soren is actually sleeping... We've got plenty of "awake" photos, and they'll be coming soon!
